Shaughan Keaton and I are currently collecting data for Metacognitive Listening Awareness Strategies (Janusik & Keaton) as well as the Listening Concepts Inventory (Imhof & Janusik). We'd like to get to as close to 1,000 responses as possible, and we're almost 1/2 way there.
Participants are asked to take the on-line survey in their first language, and we currently have the instrument in the following: Bulgarian, English, Finnish, German, and Spanish.
The survey is set up to account for extra credit for your students, if you'd like. It will remain open until April, which could accommodate many semesters. We'd even consider another language if you have the translation capabilities and could supply a minimum of 100 participants.
We are particularly interested in finding a population of participants who identify Spanish as their first language.
