RALPH NICHOLS MEMORIAL FUND UPDATE |

As all members of the ILA know, Dr. Ralph Nichols and Lucile "Colonel" Nichols are held in high esteem, and the plan for establishing a permanent historical memorial of the Nichols at the University of Minnesota continues to move ahead. As of this date, 18 ILA members have contributed $3,435.00 towards this project. Others have pledged their support and many are in the process of thinking.
About the Nichols, it has been said that, "The sun rises and sets, but, the powerful impact of the sunshine endures forever." In addition, to insure that their service will endure forever, we once again remind and invite members of our ILA family to join the list of Contributors.
To honor the lasting memory of Dr. Ralph G. Nichols and Lucile "Colonel" Nichols we invite your action to contribute to the NICHOLS MEMORIAL FUND. Your contribution will support the development of a permanent memorial of the "Father of the Field of Listening" at the University of Minnesota.
It has been said, "When a mighty oak falls, it never dies, as a thousand acorns are scattered to the ground." We stand on the shoulders of giants and are indebted forever. In payment of that debt, we again invite every member of the International Listening Association to contribute to the NICHOLS MEMORIAL FUND. Time is of the essence.
