Forum fee includes two lunches and Friday night's banquet at Fiorella's Jack Stacks BBQ in KC, MO. Transportation will be provided from Embassy Suites. Dinner includes a buffet with various meat and vegetarian options, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, and dessert. EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL - KANSAS CITY PLAZA, 43rd and Nichols Parkway, KC, MO. Participants must make their own hotel reservations. The hotel is located 3 blocks from the Plaza. Sleeping suites include sleeping room for 4 people and a kitchenette. The rate for 1 - 4 people in a suite is $115 plus $1.50 MO license fee and 14.85% tax. Suites include a free cooked-to-order breakfast and an evening manager’s reception. When making your reservation, call 816-756-1720 and ask for the “Listening Forum” rate.

To help reduce costs, we are offering a roommate service. Participants will be responsible for making their own reservations, but we will forward individuals names and contact information of those wishing to share. Please register and reserve hotel rooms by September 19th, 2006. Fees are higher after that date. Hotel rate are applicable two days prior to and two days following the conference.

TRANSPORTATION
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to/from KC, as well as the KCI airport to the hotel. We will provide free transportation from the hotel to the site of the Forum, Rockhurst University.

Embassy Suites Hotel offers free parking for those who prefer to rent a car at the airport.

The KCI Shuttle provides transportation from the airport to the plaza hotel. Look for their kiosk or cart in the terminal near the baggage claim. The terminal is only one gate deep and is circular, so it is easy to find the kiosk. Cost is $16, one-way. Various taxis also go to the plaza, but will be considerably more expensive.

Note: We have limited free shuttle service from KCI airport to the hotel, and we will try to accommodate people arriving close to the same time who have requested this service in advance. Vans are limited to 12 passengers for the airport runs. Call or email Diana Schnapp (913-897-1494, dcorleys@kc.rr.com) if you want to arrange transportation to or from the airport. Include your flight number, airline, arrival date and time. For departing service also include your flight number, airline, arrival date and time. You will receive a confirmation directly from Diana if she is able to accommodate your schedule.
