Recognizing the significant benefit of listening to build and strengthen our relationships across the world, we seek to create a space for open dialogue across countries and cultures. You will find energetic curiosity, respectful attention, and critical thinking in a mutually shared environment where people intentionally seek to listen and be listened to, giving us greater capacities to connect and relate to one another.

Recipients of ILA student scholarships will also be expected to contribute 5 hours to the smooth running of the convention by assisting with the administrative work at the convention. You will be asked to create an online Venmo account so that your scholarship money can be awarded after the convention.

To apply for a scholarship, please send an email no later than November 30, 2019, explaining how you meet the criteria to April French, ILA Student Board Member aprilfrench1109@googlemail.com
